*This is a joint meeting with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council's Board of Directors.*
The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Baltimore region. As an MPO, the BRTB is directly responsible for making sure that any money spent on existing and future transportation projects and programs is based on a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive (3-C) planning process. The BRTB is a 13-member board representing the cities of Annapolis and Baltimore, the counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Queen Anne's, as well as the Maryland Department of Transportation, the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Maryland Department of Planning, the Maryland Transit Administration, and Harford Transit.
Staff from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) invite you to share your thoughts about the regional transportation planning process conducted by the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB).
The public may provide comments to FHWA and FTA during the Public Comment Opportunity at the BRTB monthly meeting with elected officials on Friday, May 1 at 9 a.m.
