Staff from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) invite you to share your thoughts about the regional transportation planning process conducted by the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB).

The public may provide comments to FHWA and FTA during the Public Comment Opportunity at the BRTB monthly meeting on Friday, May 1 at 9:45 a.m.

For any member of the public who wishes to address the BRTB on the day of the meeting, they may do so by emailing a short statement (no more than 375 words) to tlang@baltometro.org. These statements must be received no later than 9 A.M. on May 1, 2020 to be relayed to the board at the meeting.

The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Baltimore region. As an MPO, the BRTB is directly responsible for making sure that any money spent on existing and future transportation projects and programs is based on a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive (3-C) planning process. The BRTB is a 13-member board representing the cities of Annapolis and Baltimore, the counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Queen Anne's, as well as the Maryland Department of Transportation, the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Maryland Department of Planning, the Maryland Transit Administration, and Harford Transit.
