Maps and Data
The Baltimore Metropolitan Council collects, maintains, analyzes and reports on data from numerous sources. Council staff also create maps of all kinds, showing political and other boundaries (for example, census tracts), displaying demographic trends, and illustrating various statistics, such as commuting patterns, location of new housing units, and traffic travel speeds.
Some of the data and maps are included in reports that can be found on our publications list. Regional statistics from the Census, demographic forecasts , and community profiles are available on our website.
We provide annual building permit data in summary form, and offer subscriptions to monthly printed reports and to an online database for the most up-to-date and complete permit information available.
We can provide demographic information for any location in Maryland, even for unique geographic areas like circles, corridors and polygons (bounded by whatever streets you want). Modest fees are charged for this service. BRTB Budget and Work Program (UPWP) for FY 2016 and 2017
