M&O Strategic Deployment Plan
The Baltimore Metropolitan Council completed the Management & Operations (M&O) Strategic Deployment Plan in 2007. The starting point for the M&O Strategic Deployment Plan was the 1998 Intelligent Transportation System Strategic Deployment Plan, with an expanded scope to include:
- Management and operations projects and protocols
- M&O projects that improve security and emergency response
- Recommendations for continued integration of M&O into the transportation planning process, with consideration given to provisions in SAFETEA-LU, the "Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users"
- Proposed updates to the Maryland ITS Architecture
