Pedestrian in crosswalk

Bicycle and Pedestrian Training

Throughout the year, the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, as well as Baltimore Regional Transportation Board member agencies, host events related to bicycle and pedestrian issues.

Examples of past events:

  • Designing Accessible Public Rights of Way – This workshop provided transportation planners and advocates with important information about creating accessible sidewalks.

  • Walkable Community Workshop series – This workshop series helped local elected officials, community leaders, and transportation planners identify pedestrian issues in their community and set a plan for improving conditions.
To stay up-to-date on the latest events and news, register for the BikePed Beacon. This e-newsletter goes out monthly and includes great information and resources.
