Baltimore City and SHA Amendments to 08-12 TIP
Amendments to 2008-2012 TIP
Baltimore City and the State Highway Administration (SHA) requested an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2008-2012 Baltimore Region Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) by adding funding for the following projects:

Five segments of road resurfacing and rehabilitation (Baltimore City)

Edmondson Village Street Lighting and Pedestrian Safety Improvements (Baltimore City)

Road resurfacing of MD 462 (SHA in Harford County)

Bridge Painting (SHA in Anne Arundel County)
The source of funding for all of these proposed projects is the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 funds.

Road Resurfacing and Rehabilitation
These non-capacity improvements will include milling, patching, sealing, and resurfacing existing deteriorated roadways (segments of Kirk Avenue, Rogers Avenue, Gwynns Falls Parkway, Washington Boulevard, and Holabird Avenue) in Baltimore City and MD 462 in Harford County.Edmondson Village Street Lighting and Pedestrian Safety Improvements
This project will improve sidewalks, street lighting, and ADA accessibility in the Edmondson Village community including, but not limited to, Wildwood Parkway, Allendale Street, Hilton Parkway, and Edmondson Avenue.Bridge Painting
Bridge painting is part of the preventive maintenance for bridges. Painting helps to prevent rusting, therefore prolonging the useful life of the bridge. This project will fund cleaning and painting of various bridges in Anne Arundel County.
