The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB) and the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) invited representatives from state, local, and private sector to attend the 5th Regional Traffic Signal Forum to hear about the latest developments in the traffic signal field.

This forum provided an FHWA sponsored showcase on Adaptive Signal Control Technologies and sessions to improve signal timing, new technologies, and issues and challenges faced by state and local operators.

This was a unique opportunity for signal technicians, operators, designers and others in the traffic signal field from the Baltimore, Washington, Northern Virginia areas to hear from the experts and peers in this field.
