At its November meeting, the BMC Board of Directors honored Baltimore Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke, outgoing Chair, and Honora Freeman, outgoing chair of the Management Committee, with resolutions recognizing their contributions to BMC and the work of the region.
At its November meeting, the BMC Board of Directors honored Baltimore Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke, outgoing Chair, and Honora Freeman, outgoing chair of the Management Committee, with resolutions recognizing their contributions to BMC and the work of the region.
Vice Chair Dutch Ruppersberger presented Mayor Schmoke with a resolution recognizing his role as a founding member of BMC, his service of four terms as Chair, and his commitment to a regional approach to public safety and air quality issues. (right)Newly-elected Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley joined the BMC Board at the January meeting. At that meeting Baltimore County Executive Dutch Ruppersberger was elected Chair and Carroll County Commissioner Julia Gouge was elected Vice Chair.
