Redistricting Data

Redistricting data are provided by law and used to draw districts of the United States Congress and state legislatures, as well as voting districts (e.g. election precincts).

Summary File 1 (SF1)

Summary file 1 presents 100%
counts and basic cross-tabulations of information collected from all people and housing units.

Demographic Profiles

Profiles offer selected demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics from 100% count and sample data, presented in three separate tables.

 Summary File 3 (SF3)

Summary file 3 contains social, economic and housing characteristics compiled from the census long form of approximately 19 million housing units nationally (about 1-in-6 households).

Commuting Data

The CTPP (Census Transportation Planning Package) is a special census tabulation from the census long form; provides the richest set of transportation and commuting data at TAZ (transportation analysis zone) level.
