What we do for cleaner air
Each of us can do our share for cleaner air – even local and regional organizations and businesses.
In addition to working closely with member jurisdictions and the Maryland Departments of the Environment and Transportation, the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board does a number of things to address transportation and air quality issues and to promote cleaner air.

Policy and planning
- Air Quality and Transportation - What is the relationship between air quality and transportation?
- Freight and Air Quality - Freight movement is essential to the economy of our region, but like other forms of transportation, it can cause air pollution.
- Interagency Consultation Group - The ICG meets monthly to discuss current transportation topics and how they affect the region’s air quality.
