Clean Cars for Clean Air Clinics - Wednesday,
May 26
Motor vehicles are a significant source of the emissions that
pollute our region's air. Individual maintenance and driving habits can make a
big difference in how much a vehicle pollutes, so it is important to keep up
with basic preventive measures - ensuring fluids are changed regularly, engines
are tuned properly, worn belts are replaced, and tires are inflated to the
correct pressure.
That is why the Maryland Department of the
Environment and the Baltimore Metropolitan Council have teamed up with local
automotive technicians to offer Clean Cars for Clean Air Clinics. Get your
vehicle inspected for FREE on Wednesday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to Noon at McFaul
Senior Center (525 West McPhail Road in Bel Air) or from 2 to 4 p.m. at the
Edgewood Senior Center (1000 Gateway Road in Edgewood). www.cleancommutemonth.com

followed by a relaxed barbecue with live music. Proceeds are donated to groups
