IMAGINE 2060: VISUALIZE
WHAT COULD BE Take the
imagine 2060 online survey or share with a
friend
The Baltimore Regional Transportation
Board is seeking input from residents, organizations, businesses, and
institutions around the region for a new process called imagine 2060.
In April and May, members of the public attended a series of workshops.
Additional meetings and open houses are currently being planned for June. Stay
tuned for additional details, coming soon!
Today, the BRTB would like to hear your voice through the imagine
2060 online survey. It will only take a few minutes to complete and your
input will be used as the BRTB moves forward in the process to imagine what we
want for the region over the next 50 years.
If you've already completed the survey, please use the links below to share
with others or forward to a friend, coworker, neighbor, or your local community
association.

What do you think about these proposed plans and
programs?
2011 - 2014 Draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
and Air Quality Report (May 21 - June 22)
Just over $1 billion in transportation projects are being
proposed. Projects that will benefit biking and walking include: North Avenue
Streetscape, improvements to the neighborhood around the West Baltimore MARC
station, and the reconstruction, with bike compatible features, of the US 40
bridge over the Patapsco River and US 1 bridge over the Little Gunpowder Falls.
In addition to the draft TIP, an air quality report regarding the
impact of the proposed projects on the Baltimore region is also available for
review. The public review and comment period opens Friday, May 21 and comments
are welcome through Tuesday, June 22.
Draft FY 2011 Goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (May 17 -
June 16)
The BRTB recently adopted a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
policy when using federal funds to implement certain transportation activities
in the Unified Planning Work Program. Now, the BRTB is releasing a proposed
participation goal of 20% for FY 2011. Comments are welcome through Wednesday,
