May is Clean Commute Month.

Help us clean the air the breathe! You can do it! For a few days in May, keep your car parked. Try another way to get around. It's not hard! You can take transit, bicycle, or even walk. If you do drive, share your ride with a friend or co-worker, and make sure to keep your car in tip-top condition. You could cut your commute costs in half.

Join us at a number of events around town and find out how you can save time, money, and stress by leaving your car parked. You can ride your bicycle to one of this year's Bike to Work Day rallies or visit our displays at the Baltimore Flowermart, the Towsontown Spring Festival, and the Herb Festival at Piney Run Park. You can attend a free car care clinic and learn how to keep your vehicle running as cleanly as possible.

Clean Car Clinics
As part of the Clean Commute Initiative, MDE and BMC sponsor Clean Car Clinics, from April through September. Certified technicians from Precision Tune Auto Care are available at every clinic and perform complimentary inspections for anyone who brings a vehicle to one of the sites. The inspections are comprehensive, and although the technicians do not make actual repairs, they recommend work to motorists, when needed.
