Regional Planning Districts(RPD) are a somewhat larger district level of geographic detail used in transportation planning to summarize demographic characteristics and travel data for an identifiable area. RPDs follow census geography boundaries and contain one or more census tracts. There are 94 RPDs in the region.
The American Community Survey(ACS) is an ongoing survey that asks questions about demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics of the population. This data is an estimate based on a small sample and can have a large margin of error. Please note that the margin of error is not shown on this map.
