Attend Meetings
One of the best ways to influence how our region will grow over the next 5, 10, or 20 years is to be involved! There are a number of ways you can get involved on a regional level, as well as locally. Here are some options to let you started:
- For general information on ways you can get involved with the regional process, check out our current Public Involvement Plan.
- Join a committee – the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board has a number of committees that work on topics such as bicycle and pedestrian planning, air quality and freight management. The following committee directly deals with public concerns and ideas:
- Citizens Advisory Committee - Attending CAC meetings is a good way to learn about various issues and meet other people who are working to make a difference. The public is always welcome to attend as a guest and participate in discussions as time allows. Learn more.
- Contact other agencies like the Maryland Transit Administration, the State Highway Administration, or your local transit agency to find out how to get involved. All of the transportation agencies in our region have public meetings and citizens committees. More resources...
