Building Permit Data System Online
BPDS OnlineThe online building permit data system makes it possible for you to search the latest available permits on the Internet at any time of day or night, from your office, home or while you are on the road with your laptop computer. New permits are added to the database on a weekly cycle, as soon as the latest permits issued by local jurisdictions have been processed by the BMC staff.
BPDS Online allows you to generate custom reports by selecting specific types of construction projects, time frame, geographic area and estimated cost of the proposed project. A User's Guide (pdf) describes the service in detail.

To subscribe to BPDS Online, contact the Regional Information Center at 410-732-9570 or ric@baltometro.org. Staff will be happy to give you a demonstration of how the service works and/or give you a short-term password so you can test it out.
When you are ready to subscribe, please complete a license form (pdf). You may arrange for payment over the phone or by printing out, completing and faxing or mailing back the order form (pdf).
