Interagency Consultation Group


Interagency coordination is a requirement of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The Interagency Consultation Group, a subcommittee of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board, is the group that focuses on coordination of the transportation conformity process. This group works to promote coordination among the transportation and air quality agencies for the region.

ICG Membership
Voting membership includes:
  • Baltimore Regional Transportation Board
  • Maryland Department of the Environment
  • Maryland Department of Transportation
Non-voting membership includes:
  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
  • U.S. Federal Highway Administration
  • U.S. Federal Transit Administration
  • Baltimore Metropolitan Council
Citizen and stakeholder involvement is welcome and encouraged.
