AGENDA

1. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 4 AND FEBRUARY 1, 2011 TC MINUTES

2. REPORT OF JANUARY 25 AND FEBRUARY 22, 2011 MEETINGS OF THE BALTIMORE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION BOARD

3. RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION

The TC will be asked to recommend approval of Resolution #11-20, to endorse performance measures that will assess the progress of Plan It 2035 during its implementation. 

4. RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL OF A RESOLTION

The TC will be asked to recommend approval of Resolution #11-21 at the request of Baltimore City to transfer approved CMAQ funds to pedestrian improvements associated with the Westport development.

5. DISCUSSION OF THE CONSIDERATION OF FUTURE TRAVEL COSTS

The TC will discuss/propose a possible response to concerns of rising energy prices on transportation choices and behavior raised by the BRTB.

6. PLAN IT 2035

BMC staff will share progress with current and ongoing tasks.

7. PROGRESS REPORT ON UPWP PROJECTS

BMC staff will present information on current UPWP projects, including:

  • Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES) initial results.
  • Toll Model Demonstration
  • ES202 Process

8. OTHER BUSINESS

WEATHER NOTICE
In the event that Baltimore County schools are closed system-wide, all meetings (AM and PM) of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and its subcommittees will be cancelled for that day.  If the school system closes during the day, any meetings scheduled for the remainder of the day or evening are cancelled.  Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
