1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 MINUTES)
2. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM JUNE 21ST MEETING (5 MINUTES)
3. REGIONAL SIGNAL SYSTEMS UPDATE (20 MINUTES)
Roundtable discussion and update on current issues, challenges, and successes from Signal Committee members.
4. DEMONSTRATION OF INSYNC - ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM FROM RHYTHM ENGINEERING (60 MINUTES)
There will be a demonstration of an adaptive traffic control system called InSync, developed by Rhythm Engineering which integrates sensor technology and robotics to produce a fully-digital, user-friendly, cost-effective system.
5. REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL FORUM (10 MINUTES)
The subcommittee will continue discussion/preparation for the next regional signal forum, tentatively scheduled for November 2010.
6. OTHER BUSINESS (5 MINUTES)
