6. APPROVAL OF FISCAL YEAR 2011 DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL (5 MINUTES)
The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #10-24. The resolution identifies the methodology for proposing a DBE goal for FY 2011 and sets the goal at 20%.
7. ELECTION OF BALTIMORE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION BOARD OFFICERS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011 (5 Minutes)
At the May BRTB meeting, the BRTB Nominating Committee recommended Carroll County as Chair and Harford County as Vice Chair for FY 2011. The BRTB will also entertain nominations from the floor prior to a formal vote for officers that will assume BRTB leadership in July.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
8. MTA WILL DISCUSS ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE RED LINE (15 MINUTES)
A representative of MTA will brief the BRTB on current progress related to the Red Line.
9. DISCUSSION OF RECENT FEDERAL GRANT ANNOUNCEMENTS (5-10 Minutes)
BMC staff will update the members of the BRTB on a range of grants that have been advertised by Federal agencies.
10. UPDATE ON IMAGINE 2060 (10 Minutes)
The BRTB will be briefed on the development of this work activity, including an assessment of the Economic Outlook prepared by a consulting team for use in the imagine 2060 process. (10 minutes)
11. A GUEST SPEAKER WILL GIVE THEIR PERSPECTIVE FOR THE REGION’S VISION (20 Minutes)
As part of the Imagine 2060 speaker series, a representative of the Port of Baltimore will relate initiatives at the Port relevant to imagine 2060.
