1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)
2. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM JANUARY 28TH MEETING (5 Minutes)
3. YOUNG DRIVER DISTRACTED DRIVING VIDEO/CAPTION CONTEST - UPDATE (30 Minutes)
BMC and Integrated Design staff will provide an update on the distracted driving campaign launched in late March.
4. COLLISION AVOIDANCE FOR TEENS (CAT) (20 Minutes)
Sergeant Mark Shiplett (Howard County Police Department) will provide an update on a Collision Avoidance Program for Teens.
5. STRATEGIC HIGHWAY SAFETY PLAN (SHSP) UPDATE (20 Minutes)
MHSO/consultant staff will provide an update on the SHSP and other statewide safety initiatives.
6. STREET SMART BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN SAFETY CAMPAIGN (15 Minutes)
BMC and MHSO staff will update the Committee on the 2010 Street Smart campaign.
7. MEMBER REPORTS (15 Minutes)
- Updates from safety stakeholders on regional activities.
