1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)
2. FHWA FREIGHT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS (30 Minutes)
Ed Strocko (FHWA) will present federal initiatives related to freight planning, including corridor planning.
3. UPDATES ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLE INFORMATION SYSTEMS & NETWORKS (CVISN) AND VIRTUAL WEIGH STATIONS (30 Minutes)
John Rotz (SHA) will provide updates on programs that identify and screen high risk carriers.
4. BALTIMORE CITY TRUCK ROUTE MAP (20 Minutes)
Valorie LaCour (Baltimore City DOT) will discuss the recent launch of a new truck route map and the proactive approach that was used in developing new truck routes in the City.
5. MDOT UPDATES (20 Minutes)
Nicole Katsikides (MDOT) will provide updates on three on-going projects: Statewide Freight Plan, Statewide Rail Plan, and Marine Highways.
6. REGIONAL DATA NEEDS (15 Minutes)
The Committtee will discuss if there is a need to collect data on truck movements in the region.
7. MEMBER REPORTS (15 Minutes)

Weather AlertIn the event that Baltimore County schools are closed system-wide, all meetings (AM and PM) of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and its subcommittees will be cancelled for that day. If the school system closes during the day, any meetings scheduled for the remainder of the day or evening are cancelled. Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
