1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)
2. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM SEPTEMBER 29TH MEETING (5 Minutes
3. STRATEGIC HIGHWAY SAFETY PLAN (SHSP) UPDATE (20 Minutes)
MHSO/consultant staff will provide an update on the SHSP and other statewide safety initiatives.
4. EVC– EXPLORING AND VISUALIZING CRASHES (15 Minutes)
A prototype version of this tool is being used and tested by several local jurisdiction safety practitioners. This will provide an opportunity to provide feedback on how this tool is functioning.
5. REGIONAL SAFETY CAMPAIGN - FY10 PROGRAM UPDATE (30 Minutes)
BMC has retained Integrated Designs, Inc. to develop and implement the next phase of the regional safety campaign. BMC and Integrated Design staff will provide a draft outline of the campaign and seek input from Committee members.
6. STREET SMART BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN SAFETY CAMPAIGN (15 Minutes)
BMC and MHSO staff will update the Committee on the Street Smart campaign launched in the Baltimore region in September 2009 and plans for the Spring 2010 campaign.
7. MEMBER REPORTS (15 Minutes)
- Election of Committee Chair
- Updates from safety stakeholders on regional activities.

Weather AlertIn the event that Baltimore County schools are closed system-wide, all meetings (AM and PM) of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and its subcommittees will be cancelled for that day. If the school system closes during the day, any meetings scheduled for the remainder of the day or evening are cancelled. Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
