1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)
2. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM SEPTEMBER 21ST MEETING (5 Minutes)
3. REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL OPERATIONS PROGRAMS (30 Minutes)
FHWA released a report in October 2009 that provides an overview of practices related to developing and sustaining a Regional Traffic Signal Operations Program. The purpose for a RTSOP is to provide regional partners a formal framework to collectively manage the signal system performance for efficiency and consistency. Kevin Lee, one of the co-authors of this report, will provide an overview and how the region could benefit from this.
4. FIBER OPTIC VERSUS COPPER (TWISTED PAIR) – GROUP DISCUSSION (30 Minutes)
The committee will discuss the pros and cons of using fiber optic versus copper and experiences of local jurisdictions and SHA.
5. REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL FORUM (20 Minutes)
The subcommittee will continue discussion/preparation for the next regional signal forum.
6. REGIONAL SIGNAL SYSTEMS UPDATE (20 Minutes)
Roundtable discussion and update on current issues, challenges, and successes from signal committee members.
7. TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (20 Minutes)
The committee will continue discussion on developing a regional signal maintenance management system.
8. OTHER BUSINESS (5 Minutes)

Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
