MHSO/consultant staff will provide an update on the SHSP and other statewide safety initiatives.

4. EVA – EXPLORING AND VISUALIZING ACCIDENTS (15 Minutes)

BMC/UMD staff will provide an update on a tool that will help local and state safety engineers to access and analyze crash data using a web-based analysis tool.

5. E-MAARS, MSCAN, ACRS – STATEWIDE DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS TOOLS (15 Minutes)

MHSO/Towson University staff will provide an update on several initiatives underway to collect and analyze crash data. Come find out what all these acronyms mean and how they will help provide timely and accurate data.

6. STREET SMART BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN SAFETY CAMPAIGN (15 Minutes)

BMC staff will brief the Committee on the Street Smart campaign in the Baltimore region.

7. FY 2010 REGIONAL SAFETY CAMPAIGN (30 Minutes)

Discuss regional priorities and focus areas for BMC and the regional safety subcommittee for the upcoming year.
