AGENDA

1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)

2. REGIONAL TRUCK MOVEMENT STUDY (30 Minutes)

Committee members will discuss the technical memorandum summarizing data collection and analysis on truck movements around the Dundalk, Seagirt, and Fairfield Marine terminals.

3. CSX NATIONAL GATEWAY (30 Minutes)

Sharon Daboin, CSX Resident VP for State Government and Community Relations, Maryland and Delaware, will provide an update on the National Gateway project and the status of projects in the region.

4. MARINE HIGHWAY CORRIDOR STUDY (20 Minutes)

MDOT will introduce an outline for a study to identify options for marine highway corridors in Maryland and connecting to waterways of neighboring states that would be beneficial extensions of surface transportation at the local and regional level.

5. MDOT UPDATES (20 Minutes)

  • September 14 Freight Summit
  • Statewide Freight Plan
  • Statewide Rail Plan
