6. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2010 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #10-6 in support of an amendment to the FY 2010 UPWP. The amendment is requested by the Baltimore Metropolitan Council on behalf of the Urban Area (Homeland Security) Work Group to conduct a tabletop exercise focused on the transportation aspects of evacuation. (5 Minutes)

7. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE 2008-2012 BALTIMORE REGION TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #10-7 in support of an amendment to the 2008-2012 TIP. The amendment includes several projects and is requested by three members of the BRTB. (5 Minutes)

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS

8. DISCUSSION OF REGIONAL SUPPORT FOR A TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENT GENERATING ECONOMIC RECOVERY PROPOSAL

The BRTB is working with the Maryland Department of Transportation to arrange a briefing on Baltimore region projects under consideration for inclusion in the state application to be submitted to the U.S. DOT for TIGER grant funding.

9. OVERVIEW OF AN EMERGENCY RIDE HOME PROGRAM

Baltimore Metropolitan Council staff will provide the BRTB with an overview of what typically entails an emergency ride home program, including its benefits and an estimate of the budget required to fund a regional program.

10. CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE RESPONSE TO RECOMMENDATIONS ON UPDATING THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN

The CAC will present their August position on the BRTB’s recommendations on updating the Public Participation Plan.
