Baltimore Region (ARRA) Amendment to 08-12 TIP
Baltimore Region ARRA Amendment to FY 2008-2012 TIP
Maryland’s share of formula funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is estimated at $564.9 million (does not include WMATA) to be directed at maintaining and improving existing transit systems, roads and bridges; and, that these funds will be distributed to a wide range of “fix-it first” projects to allow the benefit to be felt by workers and families in every region of the state. The projects proposed for funding in this amendment reflect system preservation needs on federal-aid eligible local facilities for approximately $20 million throughout the Baltimore region.
