ACTION ITEMS
6. APPROVAL OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2010 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-20 in support of the FY 2010 UPWP.

7. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE 2008-2012 BALTIMORE REGION TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-23 in support of amendments to the 2008-2012 Baltimore Region TIP.

8. APPROVAL OF ALTERNATIVES RETAINED FOR DETAILED STUDY FOR INTERSTATE 795 AT DOLFIELD BOULEVARD/PLEASANT HILL ROAD (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-24 in support of the alternatives retained for detailed study for I-795 at Dolfield Boulevard/Pleasant Hill Road.

9. APPROVAL OF UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM CONSULTANT CONTRACT SELECTION PROCESS (10 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-25 in support of a consultant selection process to be followed for the retention of consultant services in support of projects to be funded from the Unified Planning Work Program.

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
10. PRESENTATION ON BALTIMORE CITY DOWNTOWN CIRCULATOR SYSTEM (10 Minutes)

A representative from the Baltimore City Department of Transportation will brief the BRTB on the Downtown Circulator Bus System scheduled to initiate service in July 2009.

11. STATUS REPORT ON THE REAUTHORIZATION OF FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION LEGISLATION (10 Minutes)

In the coming months, Congress will be working on legislation authorizing a new national transportation program. A representative from the Maryland Department of Transportation will brief the BRTB on the status of this new federal transportation initiative.

12. STATUS REPORT ON REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION VISION PLAN (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be briefed on the development of this work activity.
 
13. PRESENTATION FROM THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE (5 Minutes)

The Chair of the BRTB Nominating Committee will present the Committee’s recommendation for BRTB Chair and Vice-Chair for Fiscal Year 2010. The BRTB will elect a new slate of offers at the June BRTB meeting.

14. UPDATE ON THE MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION’S TRANSPORTATION / LAND-USE CLIMATE ACTION PLAN COORDINATING COMMITTEE (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be briefed on the discussion topics of the May 14th Coordinating Committee meeting.

15. PRESENTATION ON RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITIZEN’S ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGARDING THE CURRENT PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be briefed on the recommendations of the CAC regarding the existing BRTB Public Participation Plan. All modifications to the Public Participation Plan will require formal action by the BRTB. Such action, if determined necessary, could occur at the June BRTB meeting.
