1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)

2. REGIONAL TRUCK MOVEMENT STUDY – UPDATE ON PHASE - I DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS (30 Minutes)

BMC consultant team will brief the Committee on truck movements around the Dundalk, Seagirt, and Fairfield Marine terminals.

3. MDOT UPDATES (15 Minutes)

Nicole Katsikides (MDOT) will provide updates on the following statewide initiatives:

  • Statewide Freight Plan
  • Statewide Rail Plan
  • TLU-5 – Intercity Travel
4. Go21 (GROWTH OPTIONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY) (15 Minutes)

Go21 is a non-profit, grassroots organization dedicated to finding solutions to our nation's increasing freight transportation needs. Mr. Phil Bell, State Director for Go21, will provide an overview of his organization and their efforts to promote increased use of freight railroad transportation.

5. AMERICAN RECOVERY & REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) – POTENTIAL SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR REGIONAL FREIGHT PROJECTS (30 Minutes)

Group discussion on potential regional projects that may be eligible for funding under the discretionary grants category available through ARRA.

6. MEMBER REPORTS (30 Minutes)
