1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS (5 Minutes)
2. REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM JANUARY 26TH MEETING (5Minutes)
3. TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (30 Minutes)
Phil Tarnoff will present a proposal to purchase/develop maintenance management software oriented specifically for traffic signals. This software would:
- Track signal system reliability (by intersection and by manufacturer) in order to identify sources of excessive maintenance cost
- Permit analysis of reliability vs. age of equipment to support the development of a replacement program that justifies the replacement of equipment that has exceeded its useful life.
- Analyze personnel work schedules and performance to identify staff members that need additional training, and to ensure that work is scheduled in a manner that takes travel and skill levels into account.
- Track controller inventories to ensure that spares are compatible with replacement needs
- Maintain statistics of response times and signal retiming activities for outreach to public officials and citizens
4. SHA LED RETROFIT PROGRAM UPDATE (20 Minutes)
Woody Hood (SHA) will provide an update on SHA’s LED retrofit program.
5. REGIONAL CONGESTION MITIGATION AIR QUALITY (CMAQ) PROJECTS (15 Minutes)

- Carroll County/M&O Partnership
- Baltimore City
6. REGIONAL SIGNAL SYSTEMS UPDATE (20 Minutes)
Roundtable discussion and update on current issues, challenges, and successes from signal committee members.

In the event that Baltimore County schools are closed systemwide, all meetings (AM and PM) of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and its subcommittees will be cancelled for that day. If the school system closes during the day, any meetings scheduled for the remainder of the day or evening are cancelled. Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
