ACTION ITEMS
6. APPROVAL OF GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FROM JOB ACCESS & REVERSE COMMUTE AND NEW FREEDOM PROGRAMS (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-13 in support of the applications for federal assistance under the Federal Transit Administration’s Job Access & Reverse Commute and New Freedom grant programs.

7. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO TRANSPORTATION OUTLOOK 2035 (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-14 in support of an amendment to Transportation Outlook 2035.
 
8. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS OF THE BICYCLE & PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY GROUP (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-15 in support of amendments to the Bylaws of the BPAG.

9. APPROVAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE MODIFICATION TO THE 2008-2012 BALTIMORE REGION TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TO INCLUDE FUNDING FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (10 Minutes)
 
The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #09-17 in support of administrative modifications to the 2008-2012 TIP to include system preservation transportation projects funded from the ARRA of 2009.  MDOT will be on hand to discuss the focus of Maryland's Economic Recovery Initiative and next steps in this process.

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS 

10. STATUS REPORT ON REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION VISION PLANNING (5 Minutes)

 
The BRTB will be briefed on the development of this work activity.

11. UPDATE ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2010 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM (5 Minutes)

BMC staff will present an update on the development of the FY 2010 UPWP.

12. BRIEFING ON TRANSPORTATION AND LAND USE CLIMATE ACTION PLAN COORDINATING COMMITTEE (5 Minutes)

The BRTB will be briefed on the purpose and work tasks of the Transportation and Land Use Climate Action Plan Coordinating Committee.

13. PRESENTATION ON TRANSPORTATION INITIATIVES AT FORT McHENRY NATIONAL MONUMENT & HISTORIC SHRINE

A National Park Service representative will provide an overview of several transportation-related initiatives at Ft. McHenry. The presentation will also include a briefing on the Park’s preparations related to the Commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Star Spangled Banner and the War of 1812.

Weather Alert
In the event that Baltimore County schools are closed systemwide, all meetings (AM and PM) of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board and its subcommittees will be cancelled for that day.  If the school system closes during the day, any meetings scheduled for the remainder of the day or evening are cancelled.  Delays in the opening of the school system do not impact any committee or their scheduled time.
