2. Nominations for and Installation of Chairman and Vice-Chairman for Calendar Year 2009

3. Action Item – Approval of Minutes from October 21, 2008 Board Meeting
The Board is requested to review and adopt the enclosed minutes from the fourth quarterly meeting of Calendar Year 2008. These minutes have been reviewed and approved by the Management Committee.

4. Presentations

  • Quarterly Update by Urban Area Work Group (UAWG) - Robert Maloney, Director, Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management
  • Planning Directors’ Report on Regional Land Use Workshops and Next Steps – Marsha McLaughlin (Howard County) and Pat Keller (Baltimore County)
  • Report on Transportation "Visioning Effort" - Scope, Timeline and Cost – Frank Johnson, Carroll County Empowered Representative
5. Action Item – Approval of BMC Office Lease at McHenry Row
At the October 21, 2008 meeting, the Board directed that BMC finalize negotiations to relocate its offices to McHenry Row at Locust Point. Those negotiations are now concluded. The Board is requested to approve the office space lease at McHenry Row beginning May 1, 2010 for final execution by the Chairman and Executive Director.
