The BRTB will be asked to approve Resolution #08-24 in support of an amendment to the FY 2008 UPWP.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
7. REPORT FROM NOMINATING COMMITTEE (5 Minutes)
Mr. Emery Hines, on behalf of the Nominating Committee, will advise the Board of the Committee’s recommendation for BRTB officers for Fiscal Year 2009.
8. BRIEFING ON FEDERAL CERTIFICATION REVIEW PROCESS (5 Minutes)
Staff of the Baltimore Metropolitan Council (BMC) will brief the BRTB on the activities and discussion topics planned for the June 23-25 Federal Certification Review of the Baltimore Metropolitan Planning Process.
9. PRESENTATION ON THE MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION’S FINANCIAL FORECAST (10 Minutes)
The actions of the November 2007 Special Session of the Maryland General Assembly and the initiatives of the 2008 General Assembly resulted in various transportation revenue enhancements. Mr. David Fleming, Chief Financial Officer, Maryland Department of Transportation, will present an updated financial forecast of transportation resources available to the Baltimore region because of the new legislative initiatives. 10. PRESENTATION ON THE SCOPING PROCESS FOR THE PROPOSED GREEN LINE (10 Minutes)
A representative of the Maryland Transit Administration will brief the Board on the scoping tasks proposed for the Green Line transit project in Baltimore City. 11. UPDATE ON CLEAN AIR OUTREACH CAMPAIGN (5 Minutes)
BMC staff will update the BRTB on the tools and capabilities developed from this activity.
13. BRIEFING ON HOUSEHOLD SURVEY (10 Minutes)
BMC staff will present a status report on this task, which focused on the travel behavior of approximately 4,500 households throughout the Baltimore region.
