Directions to BMC
From the southeast (e.g. Annapolis): Take I-97 North towards the Baltimore beltway (I-695). As you approach I-695, move to the far left lane and follow the ramps and spurs to reach I-895 North. Follow I-895 through the old Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. Past the tunnel take exit 11 (O'Donnell Street west). At the end of the ramp, turn right (west) onto O'Donnell Street and drive about 1/2 mile, over the railroad bridge, to Conkling Street. Turn left on Conkling and drive down the hill (south) to the light, which is Boston Street. Turn right on Boston; after about 1/2 mile, just past the Linwood Avenue light, turn left into the driveway by the recessed building with THE J. S.YOUNG COMPANY lettering on it, but do not park in any blocked or labeled spaces. See below for parking.
From the southwest (e.g. Washington, DC): Take I-95 North through the Fort McHenry Tunnel, using the right tube. Past the tollbooth take exit 57 (Boston Street). At the end of the ramp, turn left (west) onto Boston Street. Take Boston about 1.4 miles. Just past the Linwood Avenue light, turn left into the driveway by the recessed building with THE J. S.YOUNG COMPANY lettering on it, but do not park in any blocked or labeled spaces. See below for parking.
From the north: Take I-95 South to exit 57 (O’Donnell/Boston Street). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right (west) on O’Donnell and drive about 1/2 mile (over the railroad bridge) to Conkling. Turn left on Conkling and drive south to the light, which is Boston Street. Turn right on Boston and take it about 1/2 mile. Just past the Linwood Avenue light, turn left into the driveway by the recessed building with THE J. S.YOUNG COMPANY lettering on it, but do not park in any blocked or labeled spaces.
Parking
New Procedures as of 9/22/2008:
As noted above, do not park in any blocked or labeled spaces, nor in the West Marine lot on the other side of the building. Illegally parked vehicles are regularly towed.
Drive to the parking kiosk and take a ticket. Keep your ticket with you as you will need to take it to the Pay Station located in the center of the lot to pay for parking before you leave. Visitors to BMC can get a Parking Validation Ticket good for 2 hours at the 3rd floor reception desk.
Before you return to your vehicle, go to the Pay Station, insert your ticket first, and then your validation ticket. The validated time will be deducted automatically. You can pay with currency, coin, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. After you have paid, you will receive a "payment confirmed" ticket to be used at the exit terminal.
If you forget to pay at the Pay Station, you must pay at the exit terminal but only using a credit card. The terminal does not accept currency or coin. The terminal will issue a receipt automatically.
There is no parking fee for a total period of 30 minutes or less; however this is not in addition to the 2 hours of validated parking. For up to 1 hour beyond the 2 validated hours, the fee is $7.00, and from 1 to 2 hours the fee is $12.00. The fees increase incrementally to a maximum of $30.00 for all day.
Alternatively, park in any available free spaces on Boston Street.
Enter Lighthouse Point through the double glass doors adjacent to the ATM. Proceed straight ahead past the security office to the far elevator and take it to the 3rd floor.
